I am a graduate of the University of South Carolina, but I grew up in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, where some of my best memories were made at my grandparents’ lake house just down the road. I actually learned to drive a boat before I could drive a car! The lake was a huge part of my childhood—right alongside my love for art.
I got into graphic design back in grade school and kept taking classes all through high school just for fun. I never imagined it could turn into a career until college, when I discovered visual communication. That’s when everything clicked. I threw myself into learning, grew so much as a designer, and found a real passion for branding and UI/UX. I even won a few design awards along the way!
During college, I also worked full-time as a server and bartender. It wasn’t always easy, but it taught me so much—about people, work ethic, communication, and keeping cool under pressure. That experience has really stuck with me and shaped how I work today.
Oh—and I have an orange cat I rescued. I found him living in the grill of a car, keeping warm by the engine, when he was just four weeks old. So of course, I had to take him in. He’s been my little sidekick ever since.
Now, I’m excited to keep growing, keep creating, and bring a mix of my passion, work ethic, and creative thinking into every design.
